So were you wondering if I fell off the wagon? Well kinda but not really! I've been on vacation and I can actually say that I'm glad it's over so I can get back to it. I had a great time away but it was a bit crazy as I prepared to be away. There's a lot that goes into being gone and handing the kids off to family.
OK...so the details of how I am. Well, lets say that I did gain but it could've been far worse. I am getting ready to "start" soon so I'm hoping that's a little of why I gained some. While on vacation we didn't eat out all meals but on average one, maybe two. We bought food at the store to have at home and my mom got us a fruit basket to have so we would have good food at the house and to take on the road. For the most part, I'm feeling good but I know a lot of work needs to go into the next several weeks. I need to have a lot of will power to say no to sweets and treats that find their way into the church (work). I've got to have a plan and I need to start now before it really kicks into gear. Here's what I plan to do:
1) Keep up with my Lean Cuisine or Smart Ones
2) Bring fruit and veggies to work
3) Find some kind of sweet thing that will satisfy me when everyone is diving into the cookies
4) Find a carbonated drink that I can have with little to no calories and it's good for me.
A friend found a good drink and I think I'm going to try it. It's the Ocean Spray Diet Sparkling Cranbery Juice. I'm going to give it a try and I'll let you know!
Here goes nothing...I am hanging it all out there (no pun intended) :
11/15/11 212 (gain of 3.2lbs. since Friday 11/4)

Hi! I'm so glad your back! I was worried that you had given up. YES, a plan is the absolute key to success and I am so proud of you. As the holidays are approaching us, I am with you and working out my plan as well. You will love the Cranberry drink, and it's the perfect size to throw in your purse to have as a treat. Let me know how you like it. I will keep you in my prayers for the weeks to come. Love you!! xxoo
