Sam

Here is a picture that was taken of the Bish family on Sunday. Today, Sam was supposed to start his chemo. I hope and pray that everything goes OK. This has got to be such a confusing thing for him and my heart just hurts for everything that he has to see and hear. Be thinking and praying for him and his family this week as he goes through chemo. I'll update you with more health updates at the end of the week.

Hi,

I am email moderator for the Cooper-Green Prayer Group in Dahlonega, Georgia. I got an email forward from one of our members about Sam Bish and wanted to verify the story before passing it along. I found your blog while searching. We will add Sam to our prayer list. If you could provide any updates, that would be wonderful. We send letters to those for whom we offer prayer, so if you could provide a mailing address, we would like to let Sam and his family know we are praying for them. As far as we can tell, we are the oldest and largest men's prayer group in the nation, with over a hundred members. We've been meeting every Tuesday morning since 1974.
God's richest blessings,

I just recently received the email forward about Sam. It really touched my heart, since I have an 8 year old at home. We have also been praying for a young girl in our community, Cassie Hook, who is 17, and has been battling cancer for a few years now. I'm not sure if the family has started this yet, but Cassie is on the caringbridge.org site. It's a great way for people to keep updated on how the cancer patient is doing and how we can all pray for them. Would you mind passing that info on to the family? And can you let me know any updated info so we can pray? amynic13@yahoo.com Thank you.

I am praying for this little man!! Please tell the family that their email made it to my friend/co-worker in Texas & she forwarded it to our work prayer team. I live in Arkansas but work in Memphis TN and I am sending this to my church too, First Assembly of God in West Memphis AR. Prayer changes things!!Praise confuses the enemy!!
